Trixie

With Emily Watson (Breaking the Waves) and Nick Nolte (The Thin Red Line). A film by Alan Rudolph, produced by Robert Altman. The most endearing of private detectives!

In this corrupt universe, how far will she go? Naive, dowdy, and endearing, Trixie is one funny private eye. After years of struggling, she lands a job at a casino and... plunges headfirst into a mystery. A shady entrepreneur, a corrupt politician, a mysterious videotape, a dead body: Trixie finally has a case worthy of the name. Up to her neck in trouble, her only means of survival are her instincts and the desire to prove what she is capable of.
