Olympic champion Alex Freyer gives up fencing after accidentally killing an opponent. He returns to the sport for a match at a very private club whose wealthy and cruel clientele bets wild sums on the results. Trapped, Alex discovers that the establishment clandestinely organizes duels to the death. And he has no choice but to participate, facing formidable opponents from all continents...

A resolutely original, elegant, and effective action film featuring all forms of sword fighting. The duels are all the more spectacular and realistic because they are choreographed by Robert Chapin , a specialist in the field who trained Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman in fencing for HOOK and staged some of the most impressive brawls in Army of Darkness .
