Alice wakes up in a deserted mansion. She remembers nothing, not even her own identity. Suddenly, Matt appears, claiming to be a police officer, quickly followed by an armed commando unit. They drag both of them into a gigantic underground laboratory. There, something horrific has occurred, leading to the death of all the employees. But the darkness claims the gift of being able to reawaken and hunt the living.
