Full Metal Jacket – Stanley Kubrick Collection

"The best war movie ever made!" – Jay Scott, Toronto Globe and Mail

A superb ensemble cast dives into the action in Stanley Kubrick's brilliant saga about the Vietnam War and the dehumanization process that turns men into trained killers. Joker (Matthew Modine), Animal Mother (Adam Baldwin), Gomer (Vincent D'Onofrio), Eightball (Dorian Harewood), Cowboy (Arliss Howard), and many others are plunged into the hell of boot camp under the thumb of a ruthless instructor (Lee Ermey) who views his recruits as nothing.

The action is savage, the story uncompromising, and the dialogue cinematic. Full Metal Jacket, from the rigors of basic training to the nightmare of combat in Hue City, marks a direct hit in cinema history.
