Hong Kong, 1966. Paul Wagner, an American engineer, and his wife are gunned down by the Chinese mafia. Frank Avery, Paul’s business partner, manages to save only one of the couple's two children from the massacre, little Chad, whom he takes back to the United States. The second baby, Alex, disappears... Twenty-five years later, Chad lives with Frank in Beverly Hills, where he teaches karate. After hiring a private investigator to find Alex, Frank insists that he and Chad go on a business trip to Hong Kong. The resemblance between the two brothers is so striking that Chad is soon mistaken for his twin and tracks him down in a seedy parlor. Frank then explains to the two brothers the reasons behind their parents' murder. They decide to take revenge...
