Condemned to lay eggs and then die, the feathered inhabitants of the Tweedy farm have only one word on their beaks: ESCAPE. The intrepid Ginger and her fellow hens make multiple attempts, but with little success. Time is running out: Mrs. Tweedy, the dreadful farmer, has decided that the hens will soon end up in a pie. Salvation arrives from the sky when Rocky, a cocky and smooth-talking rooster, claims that chickens can fly. The armada of hens then trains hard to pull off their last-chance mission.
